OUR lOCATION:

Our Hotel is

located in a quiet country peaceful environment. Open field, trees, nature, not a hot paved parking lot! Enjoy the quiet way of nature and the welcome feeling of a small country Inn. You will find us with your GPS if you look for McFarlane rd in Moncton parish, not Moncton. We are minutes to downtown Moncton. We are located near exit 450 off the Main Highway (number 2) on hwy 128 4.5 km (3 mi) from McDonald`s restaurant. We are located minutes to the BEACH, minutes to a the biggest Water park and slides park, minutes to a zoo, minutes to 3 golf courses, minutes to the CASINO New Brunswick, minutes to Go-Kart, 1 hour to PEI, 1 hour to Fundy Park, 1 hour to Pays de la Sagouine.

ALLERGIES:

We offer carpet free rooms, allergy free pillows and non scented products.

SHORT TERM STAY:

Some of our rooms contain kitchenettes which is perfect for short term stay. We even have BBQ`s for your home country cooking experience. We also rent furnished apartments on a monthly basis. We also offer group volume discounts. We strongly recommend 3 days stay for a FUN FUN FUN VACATION. PLAY AND STAY AT THE RESTWELL.

PETS:

There is a $20 charge for a pet. DOGS must be non-barking and very friendly. If your dog is prone to bark when he sees people or is unfriendly, unfortunately, we are not interested to have your pet as a guest. ALL CATS-DOGS must be on flea program and the owner must carry proof. Naturally, you will be expected to pick up the poop!

CANCELLATION:

Usually can be done 24 hours prior to booking. Cancellation do not apply if you book 3 rooms

or more or you have booked for a special event (such as concert) or if you book a room the same day you are arriving.

CONCERTS:

We are 5 minutes from the major outdoor concert site. We are the official Magnetic Hill concert Hotel. Shuttle service is usually available going to concert but coming back by shuttle may take more time than walking the 5 km (3 miles). We have survived the Rolling Stones, AC/DC and more!!!!

SMOKING:

Smoking is not permitted inside the building or rooms by Provincial Law. You may smoke outside by you must be at least 5 meters 15 feet away from any doors or windows. If your room smells like smoke, you will be charged from $200 to $500 dollars on your credit card. We are unable to rent a smelly room!

COOKING:

Cooking in room is not permitted after 8 p.m. Spicy cooking which leave a strong (sometimes offensive smell in room) is not permitted. You may cook spicy food outside but please not inside the rooms. Any cooking smell left in the room will be subject to a cleaning fee of $200 and a non rental fee of up to $300.

BUSINESS HOURS:

We are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Late arrivals are permitted but you are urged make prior arrangement.

PARTY-NOISE:

The hotel is for persons who desire to sleep and rest. Any guests that cause noise or disturb others will be required to leave the premises. Any guest which refuses to leave upon request by the staff will not only be charged a minimum of $500 on his credit card and will certainly not be refunded any charges. We have a zero tolerance for disturbing guests.

POOL:

Pool is open from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is an outside pool, unheated for a refreshing dip! No diving is permitted and all children must be supervised by an adult. Swimming is at your own risk. Pool is only for hotel guest, if you are not a paying guest, you may not use the pool unless you pay the required fee ($10).

MAGNETIC HILL v. Côte Magnétique

MAGNETIC HILL MONCTON CÔTE MAGNÉTIQUE:

is a trade name that is owned Federally and Provincially by Mario Charlebois and 043504 NB Inc. The City of Moncton was no longer interested in promoting the French version of Magnetic Hill. In the spirit of the law, we believed it would be best to register both names in order to promote BOTH OFFICIAL LAGUAGES (FRENCH AND ENGLISH). It is the writer`s opinion that since the city of Moncton no longer wished to promote Côte Magétique (the French vrsion of Magnetic Hill), that the City and Province willfully violated our Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom as well as our Provincial Official Languages Act. As a result, by ignoring the Laws of this Country and the Province, the city of Moncton and the Province unfortunately chose to promote the English version over the French version notwithstanding the equality of status of both French and English in New Brunswick. As a result, in July 2010, the Province and the City of Moncton have been ordered to immediately cease to promote the English version only of Magnetic Hill. Private operators are permitted to advertise the Hill as long as they promote equally the French and English version of the Famous Hill! FYI the French version of Magnetic Hill is EQUALLY known worldwide!
